I was taking brief memo of Tuesday Show Season 2 Episode 2, as I was listening to it. I plan to use the memo for the future blog entry in Japanese but I might as well share it now.

Trend of 2012?

- Professionalization, Sponsorship, 
- Capcom involvement, finally

- Some players don't like professionalization of FGC

How quickly games were figured out. 

- Compare ST and MVC,

- eg. TAC infinate,

- information spread so quickly in MVC3

- Infiltration's akuma > people change their character?

Trend in 2013 in MVC3?

- Vergil is everywhere.

- More Doom,

- How to counter Morrigan?

- TAC infinate, too long? too hard? > you can kill without it.

- Character variety is getting smaller

SFIV

- 25th Anniv tournament was a big turning point.

- Many top players plan to change characters

- UltraDavid thinks it's a wrong lesson.

- Should pick characters to counter Akuma, that's it. Don't need to change their main.

- Pick a new character but don't drop your main.

- For example, Hakan, Cammy etc. counter Akuma very well.

About "Major"
- Many "majors," almost every weekend last year. Too many? Maybe. Viewership was going down.
- Hope it's changing. Let's not call everything "major"
- Need to have new terminology other than "major." Grand slum, major, minor, regional. etc.

About APEX
- Theft in APEX happened. They have to pay back. Therefore, probably no APEX next year! That sucks!
- Please report or stop theft if you see it.

25th anniversary tournament
- Capcom involved! Feel like they want to do more. It's encouraging! 
- (They even change the color of the bar. They are caring so much.)
- It's not corporate BS events. Many FGC people worked with them. Great combination!

Who is the best player in 2012?
- Infiltration is the player of the year!
- He is the true student of the game. He does his research, whereas fighting gamers were typically lazy.

- Chris G in MVC3, although not just MVC3.
- Fun Trivia, James Chen played Chris G in MK, only once.

Other names?
- Dieminion, Bala, F. Champ.
- Filipino Champ is the most hardworking player in MVC3, just like Infiltration in SFIV

SCR

- They should be "SC Major".

- First Road to EVO event.

- Last year, Justin Wong with Ironfist but can't win with IF again

- They have craziest exhibition matches

- SFxT invitational

- Wednesday Night Fight vs FGTV house, interesting character variety!

- Infiltration vs. Latif (weird match-up lol)
